Inside the Arch of Tiberius, depicting the conquering of Israel and bringing the menorah from the temple in Jerusalem to Rome.


Part of the ceiling in the Sistine Chapel. It took Michelangelo 6 years to complete lying on his back. He actually hated painting as sculpturing was his love. He would take cadavers from hospitals to study anatomy.

During the Second World War, when Mussolini lost power, the Germans came in en-masse. They started to round up the Jews in Rome. When the Italians realized what was happening they hid the rest of the Jews and the Germans were only able to get 2,000.
